A new shopping and dining complex up the 17 Bypass, about 10 miles from the house. Also located here is the new IMAX movie theater. This place deserves a couple of trips.

North Mrytle Beach. A complex similar to Broadway at the Beach but offering more shops. To save time take Highway17 By Pass north, it’s about a 30 minute drive from Planet Surfside.

Best grocery store only 1/2 mile away at the end of 16th street behind Quincy’s family restaurant at Business 17 & 16th Street.

Best kite store.

Although you’re probably not down here to buy a TV or Stereo, Rex offers some of the best deals we’ve seen. Avoid AVAC.

Down 544 just past Wal Mart on the corner of bypass 17. Best home supply store in the area.
Ultimate Sports Store
Skate boards, mountain bikes, windsurfing, rollerblades. Neat store - trained staff.
Outlet Stores
501 about 5 miles west of Bypass 17.
Newer than Waccamaw. Features gap, timberland, reebock, Tommy H. and most of the outlet shops.
