Divine Fish House & Wahoo Outdoor Bar 3993 Highway 17 Business This is probably our favorite restaurant in M. Beach. Opened in late 1998 by the same local group that owns Bovine's. It's terrific. A little on the pricey but definetly worth the price. There is a great casual tiki bar outside if you want something light.Try the rare tuna appetizer. A winner! Painters Homemade Ice Cream 238-2724 Rt 1 - Surfside Beach Although we're not fond of the all you can eat places -this is probably one of the better ones. Our kids loved this place. Prices run about $20 adult for the full buffet. |
Sara Js Garden City Although the menu is very South Carolina traditional, heavy on the fried seafood, we felt that they offer the best product for this menu. Located overlooking the marshy inlet towards Murrells Inlet it offers a great view and delightful outdoor deck. Only open for dinner and it fills up fast. If your looking for traditional this is the place. Johnny Rockets Broadway at the Beach A 50s Malt shop. Burgers, shakes and apple pie. Waiters break into song with some of the great juke box hits from the 50s & 60s. Kids love this place. Sams Corner Garden City A landmark in Garden City by the Pier. Known for its hot dogs and 5¢ cup of coffee. Conch Cafe Between Surfside and Garden City Located on the ocean right off Ocean Blvd. this is one of the few waterfront restaurants at this end of the beach. Recommended by one of our guests from Atlanta, Andrea and her buddies, they thought good food and value, plus a great view of the ocean. Casual dress. T-Bonz On the by-pass by Broadway at the Beach We have not tried but it has been recommended by a number of our weekly guests. Ryans |
